Peter Reed Linens and SAVED NY announce an exclusive capsule collection that unites two worlds of craftsmanship: Peter Reed’s century-old expertise in fine embroidered linens and SAVED NY’s modern, heirloom-quality Mongolian cashmere. Together, they present a refined vision of contemporary luxury shaped by heritage, texture, and narrative design.
Crafted at the historic Butterworth Mill in Lancashire, Peter Reed linens reflect generations of artisanal mastery from the handling of premium cottons to the precision of hand-guided embroidery. SAVED NY, known for collaborations with artists and creatives, brings a modern sensibility that transforms traditional cashmere into contemporary heirlooms.
The collection features three signature embroidery motifs inspired by the storytelling and artisanal designs of SAVED NY’s blankets, all made to order in England:
• Pearls in White (1071) on white 300 thread count sateen.
Peter Reed × SAVED NY String of Pearls Embroidered Bedding is crafted in England from crisp white 300 thread count cotton sateen, finished with hand-guided “String of Pearls” embroidery in White (1071). Executed at the historic Butterworth Mill in Lancashire, the embroidery forms a delicate strand of pearls that gently travels across the surface, breaking apart at the edges into soft, irregular spacing.
Inspired by the tactile poetry and subtle asymmetry found in SAVED NY’s Mongolian cashmere designs, the motif evokes movement, lightness, and restraint rather than formal symmetry. The result is an elegant contemporary heirloom - refined, expressive, and rooted in British linen craftsmanship with a modern New York sensibility.
• Cornucopia in Gold on white 260 thread count percale.
Peter Reed × SAVED NY Cornucopia Embroidered Bedding is crafted in England from crisp white 260 thread count cotton percale, prized for its cool, breathable hand and tailored finish. The design features hand-guided Cornucopia embroidery in Gold, executed at the historic Butterworth Mill in Lancashire.
The cornucopia - SAVED NY’s emblematic logo -appears as a refined, symbolic motif, referencing abundance, craft, and continuity. Rendered in warm gold thread, the embroidery is framed by a subtle embroidered border that brings structure and balance to the composition, echoing classical bed linen detailing with a contemporary restraint.
• Calligraphy in White (1071) on white linen.
Peter Reed × SAVED NY Calligraphy Embroidered Bedding is crafted in England from pure white linen, chosen for its natural breathability, soft hand, and relaxed elegance. The design is finished with hand-guided Calligraphy embroidery in White (1071), executed at the historic Butterworth Mill in Lancashire.
The calligraphy motif is based on a calligram originally developed for the SAVED NY Andrew Blanket, where language becomes form and ornament. Translated into embroidery, the design unfolds as an intricate, flowing composition—at once graphic and delicate, framed by a refined embroidered border that recalls classical linen detailing.
