Graham & Brown x The Sensory Home® Introduce ‘Create’

A Fifth Sensory Colour Story Designed for Energy

June 2026: Following the success of the original Paint for Wellness collection, Graham & Brown and The Sensory Home® introduce Create - a fifth sensory colour story designed to support creativity, imagination and energy in the home.

Building on the foundation of Rest, Gather, Focus, and Nook, Create expands the collection with a warm, grounded palette that responds to a different emotional need within the home.

Where the original stories focus on calm, connection, concentration, and comfort, Create introduces energy into the home, whether that’s cooking, creative pursuits, or moments of making and doing. Designed to sit seamlessly alongside the existing collection, Create reflects the evolving role of the home, not just as a place to restore or connect, but also to think, explore ideas and create.

At the heart of Create is a palette of mid-tone, earthy colours that offer gentle stimulation without overwhelm, while adding a new sensory function to the existing palettes.

Rather than relying on high-intensity colour often associated with creative spaces, Create explores a more grounded and sensory-considered approach to stimulation through warm, mid-tone pigments designed to energise without visual overwhelm.

The four colours within the Create story include:

Pimento - a warm, mid-depth clay with rich pigments, offering both grounding and subtle energy.

Hot Mocha - a muted terracotta that brings warmth and energy without visual intensity.

Elderton - a deep mid-brown that adds foundation, depth, and visual confidence.

Chesterfield - a warm neutral, designed to balance and soften the palette.

Together, these tones create an environment that feels steady, warm, and quietly stimulating, supporting creativity in a way that feels natural and sustainable.

💬“The way we use our homes continues to shift,” says Pippa Jameson, Founder of The Sensory Home®

“We’re asking more of our spaces than ever before. Create reflects that shift. It’s about supporting moments of thinking, making and imagining in a way that still feels calm and considered.”

Iona Graham, Brand and Marketing Controller at Graham & Brown adds:

“Following the strong response to our first collaboration with The Sensory Home, we were excited to build on its success with a new palette designed to inspire and bring energy into the home. With 80 years of design expertise, we are proud to once again collaborate with Pippa to bring the ‘Create’ palette to life, and we look forward to seeing how people interpret and decorate with these colours in their own spaces.”

As with the original collection, Create remains rooted in a sensory-first approach to decorating. Each colour is designed to work within real homes, supporting emotional well-being while maintaining a cohesive and liveable aesthetic.

By expanding the collection with a fifth story, Graham & Brown and The Sensory Home® continue to offer a more considered way to decorate, one that balances function, feeling and everyday life.
