An interior designer’s expert tips for planning the perfect kitchen

Interior design studio Woodhouse & Law believes the most successful kitchens are never designed in isolation. While cabinetry, appliances and layout are essential foundations, it is the wider design scheme that ultimately determines how the space looks, feels and functions. Considering flooring, lighting, wall colours and furnishings from the outset ensures every element works together cohesively, creating a kitchen that feels connected to the rest of the home rather than a standalone space.

This holistic approach is central to the studio’s design philosophy. As well as designing and crafting kitchens, the team guides clients through every key selection, ensuring materials, finishes and lighting work in harmony. By considering every detail together, homeowners can create a kitchen that is not only beautiful and practical, but also timeless, personal and perfectly suited to the way they live.
