London-based interior design studio Tailored Living Interiors reveals its latest completed project, a full turnkey transformation of a contemporary Fulham apartment into a hotel-quality private residence where nothing was off the shelf.
London, June 2026 — Tailored Living Interiors, the multi-award-winning London interior design studio founded by KLC-trained designer Gloria Sanchez, has completed The Lucan, a fully bespoke luxury residence in Fulham, SW6, delivered as a complete turnkey interior for an internationally-based CEO client.
The project represents one of the studio's most comprehensively curated commissions to date. Every element, from the principal bedroom's made-to-order bedhead and custom bedside tables to the dining room's bespoke floor-to-ceiling shelving unit, which conceals a fully functioning home office, was designed, specified and delivered by Tailored Living as part of a single, unified scheme.
A CLIENT BRIEF BUILT ON TRUST
The client, an internationally mobile CEO, was introduced to Tailored Living Interiors by the developer, a recommendation that speaks to the studio's established reputation within London's prime residential development community. The brief was clear: a home that would feel like a five-star retreat while remaining genuinely personal, a place that reflected his lifestyle rather than simply his address.
"When a developer recommends you directly to their client, the expectation is already set at the highest level," says Gloria Sanchez, Founder and Director of Tailored Living Interiors. "Every decision at The Lucan was made with the whole scheme in mind. Nothing was chosen in isolation."
DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS
The Living Room
The living room at The Lucan is a masterclass in considered spatial planning. The centrepiece is a bespoke round sofa without being curved, a design that required persuasion. The client initially favoured straight sofas, but Tailored Living produced hand sketches of both options to demonstrate how the curve would better serve the proportions of the room. The result speaks for itself.
At one end of the space, a floor-to-ceiling bespoke joinery unit houses a holographic electric fireplace with marble surround, a considered solution to the development's restriction on gas installations, selected not merely for its visual realism but for its genuine heat output. At the other, a made-to-order metal room divider screens a more intimate seating zone at the rear, a residential interpretation of the hospitality VIP experience, complete with a made-to-order armchair, a sculptural object selected in a bespoke lit version, and an artwork commissioned in adjusted colourways to harmonise with the wider scheme.
The living room demonstrates what full turnkey interior design truly means: not a collection of beautiful objects, but a space where every decision, from the sofa to the colourway of a commissioned artwork, serves the whole
The Dining Room
The dining room doubles as a private home office, its purpose concealed within a floor-to-ceiling bespoke shelving unit that reads as pure display storage. A round dining table and sculptural chairs are both made to order, while a statement branching chandelier, selected by Tailored Living and integrated into the home's existing lighting control system, anchors the room with quiet theatre.
Rimadesio sliding doors, introduced as part of the redesign, separate the kitchen from the dining area, bringing definition and acoustic privacy to what was previously open plan.
The Principal Bedroom
The principal bedroom is a study in warm restraint, and intelligent space planning. A bespoke upholstered headboard with brass detailing and a made-to-order bedside table anchor the room, while a custom joinery unit quietly solves one of modern apartment living's most common challenges: where to put both the television and the dressing table. By combining the media unit and vanity into a single bespoke piece, with a Samsung Frame TV integrated flush into the joinery. Tailored Living eliminated the need for two separate furniture items without any sense of compromise. The result is a bedroom that feels uncluttered, considered and complete.
The Guest Bedroom
In the guest bedroom, every element was conceived as part of a single, unified scheme. The bed was made to order so that its fabric would work across the entire interior, while the headboard, custom-framed by the upholsterer, incorporates mirrored inserts to amplify the sense of space and light in the room. Sculptural wall lights, added after the headboard was installed, complete the composition. The made-to-order armchair was upholstered in a fabric chosen specifically for the room, and even the artwork was commissioned in bespoke colourways selected by Tailored Living to harmonise with the wider scheme. A guest bedroom that offers the same level of considered detail as any principal room in the house.
The Entrance and Corridor
The entrance hall sets the tone for everything that follows. A made-to-order console table sits beneath a large mirror integrated directly into bespoke wall mouldings — designed to appear as though it has always belonged. The corridor beyond, often an overlooked transitional space, was redesigned with wall panelling, a curated botanical artwork and a considered lighting scheme, proving that every space in a full turnkey interior deserves equal attention.
