Celebrating 25 years of timeless design, Cox & Cox is marking its milestone anniversary with the launch of Chapter 25 – a special capsule collection inspired by one of the brand's very first products. At the heart of the collection is the delicate, skeletal Peepal leaf, whose distinctive silhouette first captured the imagination of the British public in the late 1990s - our founder, Fiona Cox, appeared on the BBC’s hugely successful makeover series, Home Front, where she created a striking wall display using the leaves. The BBC was inundated with people wanting to know where they could buy the leaves, so Fiona quickly pulled together an order line using her husband’s mobile number and the hallway of her parents’ home in Bath became her stockroom.
Twenty-five years on, those iconic leaves have come full circle, inspiring a collection designed by Cox & Cox's in-house creative team, including embroidered napkins, wall art and hand-blocked textiles. A soft sage green palette, drawn from the natural tones of the original leaves, flows throughout the collection, alongside a special anniversary edition of Cox & Cox's best-selling Weathered Oak Stool, reimagined in sage. Ruffle-edge cushions, a quilted tote, make-up bags, a sleep mask and lampshades complete the limited-edition range, with a commemorative book celebrating 25 years of Cox & Cox style set to be published this autumn.
