New from ercol: five collections that balance craft, comfort and everyday life

ercol, the British furniture maker established in Buckinghamshire in 1920, announces five new additions to its ranges. Including three new collections — spanning dining, living and upholstery — each designed to work as hard as the homes they live in.

Highmoor Coffee Table and Side Table

The Highmoor dining table is recognised for its sculpted legs, where circular cut-outs are precision-machined before being sanded and finished by hand, a process that sits comfortably between modern and traditional craft. The new Coffee and Side Tables bring that same signature leg design into the living room, completing a collection that can now furnish a space from dining to sitting. All three pieces are made in solid ash and available across the full range of ercol ash finishes.

Ballard

Ballard is an upholstery collection built around the kind of considered detail that tends to go unnoticed until you sit down and sink into the sumptuous cushions that envelop around you. Solid ash legs taper outwards to create a generous seat width, while serpentine springs running the full length of the seat provide a supportive base beneath a deep layer of memory foam. The collection comprises a chair, medium and large sofas, snuggler, footstool and modular pieces, available in fabrics from the Universal collection.

Bronte

Bronte is defined by its H-frame legs in solid ash - a classic ercol form - with rounded profiles and edges that follow the curve of the upholstery precisely. The collection is available in both static and reclining options; the recliner incorporates a charging outlet and separate powered mechanisms for the head and footrests which feature Cloud Zero® mechanism ensuring you recline into a perfectly supported zero-gravity position, returning to upright at the touch of a button. Medium and large sofas, snuggler and scatter cushions complete the range, all available in Universal fabrics.

Heritage Extending Dining Table

The Heritage range expands with two new extending dining tables, made of solid oak, with the larger table made to seat up to eight. Rooted in ercol's long tradition of dining furniture, it brings the flexibility of an extending table to a collection built on considered proportion and solid timber construction.
