Autumn/Winter 2026 (AW26) interior trends signal a powerful shift away from cold, flat minimalism toward warm, lived-in luxury, rich historic palettes, and tactile, multi-sensory spaces. Driven by a cultural rejection of ‘urgency culture’, this season focuses on slower, more intentional ways of living with cosy, character-rich spaces designed for genuine comfort.
“The interiors look for this autumn/winter is very much about creating a home space that feels warm and comfortable, with an emphasis on lived-in luxury,” says Isabel Fernandez, director of Quorn Stone, a leading UK natural stone and porcelain tile specialist.
“We also expect living spaces like kitchens and bathrooms to reflect romantic minimalism and gothic atmosphere themes. Colour-wise, think rich browns, deep chocolate and espresso, as well as autumnal spice, warm terracotta and deep burgundy, and rich indigo, cerulean and cobalt blues.
“Tactile materials which add to the overall depth and character of a space will continue to be a strong feature of interior design in autumn/winter 2026. Our range of textured tiles are proving particularly popular for a variety of uses; from bathroom floors and shower areas to kitchen splashbacks and flooring.”
Quorn Stone has range of natural stone and porcelain tiles which support the AW26 trends.
