Description
Luxury heavyweight cotton velvet, suitable for upholstery, curtains, cushions and blinds. Taken from a hand lino print by artist Alexis Snell, the fabric has a beautiful design of leopards leaping through the jungle amidst monstera leaves and flowers.
Designed to inject a maximalist dose of creative pandemonium into your interior, the rich velvet suits both period and modern homes.
We collaborated with printmaker Alexis Snell, to create ‘How the Leopard got his Spots’ velvet. Alexis works with linocuts, creating strange, angular characters that look as if they’ve just emerged from a fairytale. To authentically recreate the handmade effect of the original design we’ve chosen to keep the irregularity in the print, and a closer look will reveal 18 slightly different leopards climbing through the jungle
