This en-suite bathroom was designed, manufactured and installed by Simon Taylor Furniture as a full room project. The clients wanted to convert an existing spare bedroom into a luxurious en-suite bath and shower room to complement their new master bedroom. The result is a dramatic light and open area; perfect for relaxation.

Simon Taylor Furniture designed an open plan free-flowing space that included a walk-in shower, freestanding bath, twin basins and storage. To complement the style and décor of the bedroom, the bathroom was decorated in shades of grey with rich timber elements and features book-matched porcelain marble effect tiles by Minoli throughout the shower area, with anti-slip versions for the floor. The clear glass shower screen is by Mistley and the shower area features a powerful Vado waterfall shower head, accompanied by a second hand-held shower outlet, for convenience.

All walnut cabinetry was designed and made bespoke and the Acrylic Boat Bath by BC Designs was hand-painted in a copper effect by Simon Taylor Furniture to mimic the walnut bath wall, which incorporates a Vado thermostatic control and hand shower outlet for the bath. The twin basin areas feature floating storage cupboards beneath, also in walnut, and are decoratively styled with tiled upstands with integrated taps by Vado. Square Memento basins by Villeroy & Boch add a simple but effective overall effect, and are complemented by the owner’s circular mirrors above. The towel rails are by Zehnder Chatsworth and the walls are painted in London Clay by Farrow and Ball.
