Portugal inspired collection, including high-quality trays

Late last year, our photographers set off to the country known for pastel de natas, sardines, and port to soak up the ambience. The results are a lively new collection of illustrations and photographs inspired by Portuguese life with bold blues, buttery yellows and vibrant greenery.

Desenio’s Stockholm Atelier has been buzzing while the creative team got to work selecting the best photos, fine-tuning the illustrations and now it’s here, the first in a series of destination collections: Stories from… Portugal.

Inspired by tiled exteriors, the iconic Lisbon tram, and a fresh Atlantic breeze, this collection brings the whimsical romance of Portugal to life. Featuring warm mustard yellows, cool blues and the occasional splash of greenery, the collection is a mix of photographs and illustrations.

High-quality trays – perfect for entertaining!

The Stories from… Portugal collection features quality Swedish-made birch veneer trays with illustrations on a culinary theme. Trays are a lovely way to enhance your dinner table, but can also be used as wall art, in keeping with the Iberian tradition of hanging plates on white-washed walls.

Lemons & Sardines

Famed for a fusion of European and global cuisine, many people will think of the amazing smell of fresh sardines when they think of Portugal. Stories from… Portugal features a strong culinary theme, perfect for updating your kitchen.
