How to create a Christmas card garland
1. Choose your base. Start with a plain garland and drape it across a mantle, doorway or window frame. Dobbies has a range of garland styles to suit your home, from classic green foliage to frosted and berry covered varieties, to a brand-new burgundy garland that adds a unique touch.
2. Add your lights. Weave a string of fairy lights through the garland, tucking them in amongst the foliage. This will add a cosy, festive glow to your display and you can match the lights to your Christmas tree, whether that be with warm, cool or colourful options.
3. As cards arrive throughout December, attach them to the garland using mini pegs or decorative paper clips. Space them out along the length of the garland for a balanced, full look.
4. Make it your own by adding finishing touches such as baubles, sprigs of holly, and ribbon for extra sparkle and festive flair. Have fun choosing decorations that complement your cards and overall theme.
5. Stand back and admire! Your garland will grow with every card you receive, becoming a heartwarming feature in your home that celebrates the joy of the season.
