Launches A New Global Opportunity for Artists; Desenio Art Awards

Desenio announces the launch of the Desenio Art Awards, a brand new global initiative created to discover and support artists, photographers and creatives from around the world.

Across six categories, artists are invited to submit their work and share their vision with a global audience. Nominated artists will showcase their work and the winners will become part of the Desenio creative universe.

A Global Opportunity for Artists

“We believe great art should be seen, supported and shared,” says Annica Wallin, Chief Creative Officer at Desenio.

“The Desenio Art Awards is about finding new talents, celebrating artistic expression and opening doors for upcoming artists. We’re excited to welcome creators to share their work and be part of our global platform and the first ever Desenio Art Awards.”

Submissions are open

Submissions for the Desenio Art Awards are open until 19 April 2026. Artists can submit their work at Desenio.com

Jury Selection and Public Voting

All artists can submit their work to the Desenio Art Awards in one of the six categories: New Talent, Illustrator, Photographer, Graphic Artist, Mixed Media Artist and Street/Urban Artist. 

An internal jury will shortlist six nominees in each category followed by public voting.

Winning artists will become Featured Artists at Desenio, and receive:

- International exposure across Desenio’s global channels

- A monetary prize

- Becoming part of the Desenio artist’s community

The winners will be announced at the Desenio Art Awards gala evening in Stockholm, in October 2026.
