Beacon Lighting welcomes spring with a lighter approach to Australian interiors

The cooler metals, natural stone and Australian designs behind Beacon Lighting's Spring 2026 collection.

Beacon Lighting's Spring 2026 collection embraces a lighter, more relaxed approach to interior design. The new Australian-designed range introduces cooler metallic finishes, sculptural glass, Spanish alabaster and natural stone, offering customers simple ways to update their homes through thoughtful lighting and fans.

Materials take centre stage

Materiality is at the heart of the collection, with brushed nickel emerging alongside textured black, silver travertine, Spanish alabaster, sculpted glass and soft fabrics.

Spanish alabaster also takes on an expanded role across the Made By Mayfair collection. Naturally formed over thousands of years, each piece features unique veining, allowing every light to showcase its own individual character while softly illuminating the surrounding space.

Travertine continues to grow across the range, reflecting Beacon's ongoing exploration of natural materials paired with warm timber, glass and fabric. Together, these combinations create interiors that feel bright, layered and welcoming without overwhelming a space.

Australian design continues to evolve

This season also sees several customer favourites evolve through new finishes, colourways and silhouettes.

Award-winning product designer David Kruse has expanded some of Beacon's most recognised pendant collections, introducing new proportions and finishes that reflect the way Australians are decorating their homes today.

"We have reimagined some of our most-loved pendants in new shapes and finishes because the way people decorate their homes is always evolving," says Kruse.

"People still love the simplicity of these designs, but they're looking for options that feel right for today's interiors. Expanding these collections lets us build on what's already loved while giving customers more choice," says Kruse.

Among the highlights is the new Yolk pendant collection, available in multiple oversized sizes that celebrate simple geometry through softly illuminated spheres. The Tamarind collection also expands with new handcrafted forms, continuing its collaboration with Indonesian artisan communities while introducing new options for organic and Japandi-inspired interiors.

Portable lighting continues to gain momentum as homeowners embrace more flexible ways to style their spaces.

The new Arne portable lamp combines natural travertine with softly diffused opal glass, allowing customers to introduce one of the season's defining materials without committing to a permanent installation.

"Portable lighting is redefining how we think about illuminating our homes. No fixed points, no limitations, just light where you need it," says Diana Di Corleto, Beacon’s lamp designer. "Arne takes this further, introducing the warmth and texture of travertine into everyday living. A tactile way to experience a natural material, and one that moves effortlessly from room to room".

Additional highlights include the Floris decorative glass lamp collection, the softly diffused Samar table and floor lamps, and the Made By Mayfair Osten wall light, now available in bronze with hazel alabaster.

A complete home approach

The Spring collection also extends Beacon's design philosophy into ceiling fans. Premium fan collections continue to explore natural materials including Spanish alabaster and lava stone, while new white finishes and clean silhouettes make everyday fans feel more considered within the overall interior.

The collection also turns outdoors, encouraging Australians to rethink patios, alfresco spaces and gardens with lighting and fans that make outdoor living feel like a natural extension of the home.
