This set of three handmade paper stars is created by me using vintage paper that I've sourced from damaged and outdated encyclopaedias. They are full of detailed and wonderful illustrations and snippets of information, bringing memories of times gone by. The colours are soft and muted tones of gold and cream from the aged paper, along with charming flashes of blue, red and yellow from the illustrations.
I make each one by hand so there will be variations from set to set. Size wise, I include one large and one medium star in each set that I ship.
Your stars will arrive flat packed for safety. They will unfold in a concertina style, and so the two sides will require attaching with a paper clip, which I supply. See pictures for the details of this. It's a simple one step process.
Each snowflake will be unique because I use new pages for each set but they will be in the general colourways as seen above, they not identical.
