Description
DeepL TranslateStudio Le Cocq's head designer was inspired by trips taken to historic sites around the UK. During one trip to Chichester Cathedral, she noticed the painted mural on the ceiling of the Lady Chapel. Captivated by the nature-inspired swirls of Tudor roses, decorative foliage, and heraldic elements. She later discovered was painted by Lambert Barnard (1485–1567), an English Renaissance painter known for his frescoes.
Studio Le Cocq has taken inspiration from these motifs with a repeating pattern, keeping the rustic feeling of the mural.
Dried Herb Colourway is our cooler colourway, with grey-olive stems and dusty slate blues.
Inchyra Blue 289 by Farrow and Ball is a slate blue that works as a dark accent.
