Cornwall's leading online art gallery features the unique art from Cornish artists John Dyer, Joanne Short and Ted Dyer. Our artists are the most famous contemporary family of artists in Cornwall. We showcase their original paintings of the Cornish coast, beaches and gardens. John Dyer is the artist in residence for the Eden Project, an official Artist for the Earth with Earth Day, and founded and runs the leading online environmental educational art project Last Chance to Paint. His paintings from remote parts of the world, wildlife and tribal culture are proudly exhibited in our gallery. John Dyer is one of the UK's most exciting postmodern plein-air painters whose paintings are widely collected and admired worldwide. Dyer has been appointed as the artist in residence for many global organisations, including the Eden Project and is one of the leading environmental artists. Dyer's colourful, dynamic and energy-filled naïve paintings are unique, widely studied in schools across the globe and have been the subject of TV programmes, magazine articles, and a wide range of merchandise. The artist's major public retrospective in 2018 with the award-winning Falmouth Art Gallery and accompanying book secured Dyer a place in Cornwall's world-famous art history.
Joanne Short is one of the UK's most exciting postmodern colourist plein-air painters whose paintings are widely collected and admired worldwide. Joanne Short has been oil painting Cornwall's gorgeous landscapes for thirty years and has gained a large fan base from her paintings exhibited in Cornwall, London, and Monaco. The artist is one of the most famous contemporary Newlyn Society of Artists.
