Description

A flying Petrel skims the water on this hand painted Cornish Delft tile. Cornwall is home to various petrel species, typically along the rocky coastline. In flight, petrels can often be seen with their wings elevated in a V shape as their feet patter just above the waves, as depicted on our tile design.
Recreated in the Delft style of hand painted tiles, our Cornish Delft Petrel tile is delicately painted in a traditional blue stain, stroke by stroke, by our team in Marlborough and finished with delicate corner motifs.
These tiles are crafted by hand from the finest Spanish terracotta using traditional techniques, resulting in an organic finish, rich with character and natural imperfections.
This hand painted Cornish Delft wall tile is available on a subtle off white background called Antique White, or a brighter Chalk White for increased vibrance and contrast - simply use the dropdown functionality above to select your preference.
