Meticulously hand-illustrated by Nina using her signature two dimensional layering technique, creating a striking two-dimensional effect. Ida-Lilja is inspired by her Mother who loved to create sophisticated table settings.

Each of Nina’s designs are named after a person or a place close to her heart back home in Sweden, inspired by her treasured upbringing and family traditions.

Each order comes beautifully gift wrapped for free with tissue paper and branded ‘Nina D’ ribbon. Together with a personal handwritten note and leaflet explaining the design inspiration. Packaged in environmentally friendly corrugated card and cardboard box for extra protection.

Our placemats and coasters are individually handmade in England and heat-resistant up to 140 degrees celsius (320 Fahrenheit).

DESIGN INSPIRATION: Named after my Mother, Ida-Lilja was her full name although throughout her life she was called ‘Lill’. She was a remarkable woman with an incredible passion for life.
