The stiff leaves of this indigenous plant undergo a long process of harvesting, rolling and dyeing - all performed by hand - before six days of weaving takes place.
By choosing any of our woven baskets you help us keep supporting these talented weavers in becoming less dependent on self-sufficiency farming which can be perilously unpredictable.
