In the heart of Cortina d'Ampezzo, an antique hay barn, originally constructed in 1923, has been completely revitalized through a combination of architectural rigor and the sophisticated use of wood, a central feature of the entire project.
In the dining room, custom workmanship and artisanal details, such as the leather weave of the sideboard and seating, interact with the light that filters through the openings, enhancing the surface textures. A double door in patinated steel leads into the custom kitchen, where Quarzite Nera, from the Antolini® Exclusive Collection, in the Lether finish, defines the worktop, an ideal choice for everyday use thanks to the intrinsically durable nature of quartzite.
The living room finds its visual fulcrum in the contemporary fireplace, conceived as a monolithic block also in Quarzite Nera from Antolini®. The front of the hearth features the Hard Rock finish, from the Textures+ Collection, which sculpts the surface with an irregular, textured pattern capable of capturing the light and amplifying its contrasts.
Quarzite Nera is reprised in the guest bathroom as a backsplash, ensuring material continuity between the main rooms on the floor.
