Inhabit a starlit mythical world with this mischievous design inspired by Indian Phulkari folk embroideries.
Featuring eccentric characters inhabiting an otherworldly starscape, this traditionally screen printed linen is printed in the North of England and was created in collaboration with embroidery artist Saima Kaur.
Saima’s work draws inspiration from Punjabi folk embroideries known as Phulkaris, especially those that explore the bold happenings of everyday life.
Suitable for curtains and blinds as well as upholstery and cushions, the deep washed tones of violet and blue, jewel colours, batik effects and metallic golds combine to create an unforgettable fabric.
Let Celestial Promenade bring fun, humour and a mischievous spirit to a world that can take itself too seriously.
