Designed to complement an adjoining Flat Fenix fronted 18mm Birch Ply bespoke kitchen lies this matching Modern Handleless Ply and Fenix utility room, designed and made by Higham Furniture, working in collaboration with Plaice Architects, for a contemporary rear house extension to a 1950s property in Ipswich, Suffolk.
The Fenix coloured cabinetry doors in Verde Comodoro 0750 are the perfect partner for the Birch Ply 15mm Lacquered Oak Veneered furniture providing a contemporary, minimalist look with Nordic and modern influences. It also features Oak Inset floating plinths and circular routed cabinet handles.
The clients wanted the modern look as well as a sustainable solution. The plywood cabinets are crafted from premium quality FSC-certified timber and carbon-neutral Fenix NTM laminate.
Expertly crafted at Higham’s own factory in Denmead, Hampshire, the utility includes a generous expanse of 30mm Q-Stone marble-effect worktop in Cashmere, supplied by Bespoke Stone with a Franke Box stainless steel sink and Franke Fuji pull-out nozzle tap in Décor Steel.
The sink run also includes a Samsung freestanding washing machine and Bosch tumble dryer below to the left, installed opposite two large double-door storage cupboards, which are ideal for cleaning products, broom, mop, ironing board and all the other essentials that don’t need to clutter up the kitchen.
