Why
Our daughter Hermione said she was bored with the current pool toy options so we challenged her to come up with a better idea. Lots of crazy ideas and lots of hard work as a family later we created WellyWeight.
Who We Are
We’re a family-run business—a project that’s been as fun as it’s been educational. Beyond toy design and hands-on testing, we’ve learned how to build a brand: logo design, packaging, appearing on podcasts, social media strategy (and what pitfalls to avoid)—the list goes on. Most importantly, this journey has been an amazing time to learn together, allowing our children to learn real-world skills they won't don’t learn in school.
How It Works
Press the button and choose 10, 20 or 30 seconds, toy starts flashing, drop in the pool and then race is on to tap the WellyWeight green before it turns red.
