About
Having lost a whole Saturday trying to buy a bed, Charlie Marshall decided to make the process as quick and hassle free as possible. So two years, 187 mattress factories and some seriously comfy beds later, we were born in December 2008. It turned out there were a lot of you out there who liked what we were doing and we have since become one of the fastest-growing companies in the UK. In 2012 we added sofas to our repertoire. And these went down a storm too. So we continued our quest for world domination as emperors of comfy, laid-back furniture and squishy stuff for the whole home. And that's us in a nutshell!

Loaf’s NEW Spring 2020 collection has landed!
There are heaps of new goodies landing this Spring 2020 from the experts in laid-back living, Loaf.
This season, Loaf launch the Willow wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table, the Brit brand's first ever rattan collection. As well as being great for stashing your clothes, these textured designs will add a retro vibe to the bedroom.
The perfectly proportioned Pimpernel wardrobe and chest of drawers are great for tighter spaces and feature a punchy pink interior. Likewise, the Popinjay range has a lovely grey exterior and beautiful bone handles, as well as a flash of teal interior to perk up your palette.
No bedroom is complete without a new bed and Loaf has two for spring. Upping the squidge of their French beds, the new Fifi has a super-pillowy headboard making for an ultra cosy headrest. This is joined by Cushdie (seen above with the Little Willow side table) which has a cushioned, rounded headboard.
And there’s heaps for the kitchen too. The Scandi-inspired Molly dresser, with its grooved doors and drawers, along with a ‘had it for ages’ paint finish, will look great in all kitchens. The glass front and sides make it brilliant for displaying all your cool stuff above and the ribbed cabinet for hiding those boring bits below.
For those who find industrial style a bit too, er, ‘industrial’ then how about the Servery sideboard and Super Servery shelves. These new additions are a cool mix of beautifully crafted bandsawn oak and metal framing and include dovetail joint detailing and vintage-y metal bar handles. Bonzer!
What do you get when you take an old school-style chair, add a signature Loaf squidgy cushion and pair it with a cool rattan back? The Squishbag! This occasional chair is one of those ‘me-time’ chairs that you won’t want to give up. Pair it with the mid-century style Throwback coffee table, a swansong to every British sitting room who used to have one just like it. The oak is reassuringly solid, the parquet top is exquisite, and the magazine rack feels like déjà vu.
And it wouldn’t be a Loaf launch without new squish machines. Slow-Mo, a super deep design with a lovely, wraparound pillowy side and back is joined by the sumptuous scatter-back sofa, Podge. There’s also the Sugar Bum which has nifty blind button detailing, rarely seen on a sofa back. All these new designs are available as sofas and love seats.
All these new goodies will be hitting Loaf.com and Loaf Shacks on 6th February 2020!

Clever New Things! Loaf launch NEW AW19 collection!
Loaf’s AW19 collection lands this August and with it comes lashings of nifty NEW wares! From space-saving contraptions and cabinetry for little nooks to possibly Loaf’s squishiest sofa yet (is it even possible?), there are oodles of new pieces to revamp and brighten the home this season.
New squish machines arrive from the champions of laid-back living, Loaf. The new Smooch sofa is one of Loaf’s comfiest sofas ever. Cloud-like cushions and plenty of scatters give the signature Loaf squidge and the French seams have been added to crank up the cuddle factor. The Cinema sofa is an old school design inspired by movie nights and the silver screen. Brought bang up to date with chunky arms, just grab the popcorn and snuggle in. Both styles are available as sofas and love seats.
And there are plenty of savvy space-saving ideas! Caboodle and Caboodle Jr are a solid oak coffee and side table duo that have a snug upholstered cube parked neatly underneath which can be used as a footstool or extra perch.
The new Multi-Storey table is more than it seems. A genius coffee table, footstool, chair AND occasional bed, simply lift off the stylish wooden tray, unzip the linen footstool and unfold the compact single mattress and you’ve got yourself a spare guest bed. Clever, huh?
Loaf is also adding more sleep styles to their range of beds. Parlay is a beautiful new day bed which includes squishy cushions, bolsters and a tufted linen mattress, ideal for when unexpected guests swing by.
Two further beds are joining Loaf’s offering. Sugar Puff, a curvaceous, traditional French-style design and Pillow Talker which features a marshmallow-y headboard perfect for bedtime natters and late-night bookworms.
And it doesn’t stop there. Parquet Pie is a hand-laid parquet-topped round table that extends into an oval for big shindigs.
All this nifty newness will be landing in August 2019!
