Creating our new normal to enjoy our own space had never been so important, to help us stay motivated and happy during a challenging year in 2020, Big Pot Little Pot was created. Ever changing shopping habits partnered with the realisation that supporting small, local businesses should be the way forward, Big Pot Little Pot was born during the initial lockdown in 2020 by sisters Jo and Gemma.

Jo being the eldest of three sisters (Big Pot!) and Gemma, the youngest (Little Pot!) were forced to take a break from their usual work during the pandemic and decided to be creative in order to reduce the worries and stress that 2020 has thrown at us all. This creativity grew into making their own pots from a bag of cement they found at one of their homes. This developed into sourcing moulds and they started to produce them at home in Shropshire and painting them in their favourite colours and styles. The pots are not mass produced, and this brings a unique, loving touch to each individual one! 

Available in three sizes for indoor and outdoor use and designs include stars, zigzags, rainbows and our original ‘halo’ design, which was actually named by one of our customers in an Instagram poll! The Neon range has recently been launched.  Plants have never been treated so well! Customers have told the sisters that they’ve used them in the kitchen for utensils, bedrooms for hair brushes and offices for pens. Their pots are already stocked in many shops locally and as far as St.Ives in Cornwall. Every pot is gift wrapped for free!

0ne year on from launch and we are overjoyed with how many pots are already in people’s homes all over the country, receiving orders via our website www.bigpotlittlepot.co.uk. Events locally are planned for November.
