New, Unique and 100% Sustainable Pendant Lights at Workshopped by Bradley Cole

WORKSHOPPED, the Sydney-based retailer with over 20 years of exhibition and design experience, would like to present a new collection of unique pendant lights designed and proudly produced in northern New South Wales, Australia by designer Bradley Cole.

Ero is a wonderful story about creating new beginnings, new life. A surprising harmony of remnants from two quite different worlds. Where memories of timeworn natural forms were used to sculpt a discarded synthetic material into remarkably alluring pendant lights.
The initial inspiration for the ero pendant light range came from the array of beautiful ocean eroded stones found along the shores of Byron Bay’s rocky headland. A study of the stones’ timeless curves evolved into descendant forms which were eventually subtracted from one another to create ero bode and ero bare. This creative process was mindful of our available 3D printing technology’s production constraints, and was continually pushing its boundaries.
Ero pendant lights are Net Zero 3D printed from 100% recycled thermoplastic. The intriguing opulence of both the ero bode and ero bare pendant lights will offer distinct individuality to any space or gathering.

Du are hand blown glass forms, like slowly falling drops of glowing nectar, are deliciously elegant. Whether it’s a floret of Du lights or a solo show, they can easily be the centre of attention offering both feature mood lighting and downward task lighting.Available in five different glass colours: Black, Gold, Barley Sugar, Tangelo and White Mist glass.
The glass for each Du light is individually hand blown in Australia and assembled in Byron Bay. Best lit with a LED filament light source.

Bradley Cole Luminaires at Workshopped

WORKSHOPPED, the Sydney-based retailer with 20 years of exhibition and design experience, would like to present and welcome on board Bradley Cole Luminaires, a range of unique pendant lights designed and proudly produced in northern New South Wales, Australia.

“Lighting provides a wonderful opportunity to enhance the theme and individuality of any space or built form. Our belief is that lighting should be either discrete and functional or wonderfully engaging…nothing in between. Often drawing inspiration from the natural world in this especially beautiful locality” Brad said

The designs are simple yet elegant organic forms made from clay or blown glass…sometimes both. Driven by a deep belief in sustainable practices, you will also find pendant lights created from recycled or repurposed objects in the collection.

Recently the designer has been working on further reducing the carbon footprint and the ecological impact of their lighting fabrication. All luminaires are fabricated here in Australia, and the Covid restrictions have only increased the focus on working with local artisians, componentry producers and suppliers. This not only helps reduce transport emissions, but keeps money local and strengthens the sense of community.  The aim is to eventually join the growing number of carbon neutral businesses.

The lights are already produced with low temperature fired clays, 100% natural non-toxic sealers, 50% recycled acrylic, with use of recycled packaging where possible.

WORKSHOPPED has led the way in promoting emerging and established Australian designers. Since 2001, WORKSHOPPED has presented more than 20 exhibitions which have been viewed by more than 750,000 people and showcased the work of more than 650 Australian designers.
