Creating scents and making memories...this is the aim of Buick House Candles.

Just over a year ago, the founder, Gail Lynas, was working in the Corporate world of Banking, but decided to put this on hold and follow her dream.  She has always been fascinated by how a smell can evoke so many memories and remembers reading a quote 'Nothing is more memorable than a smell'.  So it has become her aim to start a luxury, yet affordable, candle business and both evoke and create memories with fragrance.

Buick is the name of the founders great-great Grandmother with the candle names inspired by her home and the stunning, surrounding Irish countryside. The seven candles are Buick, The Lane, The Meadow, The Laundry Room, The Kitchen Garden, The Library, The Loft.  There are also four luxurious wax melts - The Meadow, The Lane, The Loft and unique to the wax melts, The Linen Cupboard.

The candles are hand-poured in County Down, using an old fashioned double-pouring method.  The fragrances are all personal to the founder and are described with her own childhood memories...from laundry day at her Granny's to eating her Mum's tea loaf on a Summer picnic
