Lakeland Leather is a family‑owned British leather goods retailer rooted in the Lake District since 1955. Founded by Jack Standring in Ambleside, we've grown into the UK's largest specialist in luxury leather, suede, and sheepskin garments and accessories, operating from our Lake District home.

We travel the world in search of the finest leather, working directly with artisans who take as much pride in their craft as we do. This journey has taken us to some of the most beautiful corners of the earth, but our heart will always belong to the Lakes. It's here that we bring back our wares, our stories, and our knowledge.
