Our customers love to tell us our blankets are ‘Sooooo Cosy’. In fact, that is exactly how we came to name our business back in 2009. We are a husband and wife team (with a small team) with a passion and expertise to meticulously craft beautiful unique designs of softest, warmest, comforting natural wool blankets, bedspreads, throws and accessories. As textile designers we are focused on three things . . . fibres, form and function. We combine the best in the traditions of our craft with the best in modern technologies. As a conscious business we are involved with both the ethical sourcing of highest-grade natural fibre, as well as sustainable production with minimal environmental impact. As retailers, we are concerned with our customers’ needs and desires. With our knowledge and expertise we serve them by working hard to offer world class blankets, throws, cosies and accessories. Beautiful and practical items, lovely to see, to feel and to use, everyday and for years to come.

Available in Autumn Glaze, Honey Mustard and Windward Blue, their brand-new Alonzo throws use recycled wool to their advantage, and it’s a fibre choice that has seen these delightfully rustic creations recognised on the international scene.
Alonzo – A globally recognised recycled product
The Alonzo Recycled Wool Blanket officially holds the prestigious Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification, a product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product.
The standard applies to the full supply chain, addressing traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content, and labelling. The GRS also stipulates a minimum recycled material content of 20%, a benchmark that the Alonzo throw surpasses by some way thanks to its 100% recycled wool status.
Style, sustainability and the best of both worlds
The new Alonzo collection doesn’t just tick all the right boxes in terms of its sustainability. Its vibrant colouring and tweed-like, boutonné-effect weave means a great looking home accessory that’ll keep your interior chic and rustically cool from season to season.
Its pre-consumer recycled wool blend – which constitutes 75% wool, 22% polyamide and 3% other fibres – is also super soft to the touch, delivering unrivalled comfort whether used at home or on the go.

From their headquarters at Fairclough Hall Farm in Hertfordshire, So Cosy proudly designs and crafts the homewares and accessories that help its customers add a cosy, conscious and luxurious twist to their lifestyles.
So Cosy began life with no name on a market stall in St Albans. It wasn’t until 2011, after a hugely successful weekend at the Country Living Show, that they decided to leave their day jobs to pursue their dream of creating luxurious, high-quality products that have minimal impact on the environment. With this, So Cosy Ltd was born.
More than a decade on, founders Vilija and Rimsky haven’t looked back. They juggle life on the road – showcasing their products at various events in the UK and Europe – with time at So Cosy HQ to bring skilled craftmanship and the finest natural fibres to their loyal customer base.
