The latest Limited Edition Blunt umbrella is a collaboration between Blunt and the Sydney artist Nathan Johnson of design studio Blacklist.
Nathan Johnson – known for his original and unique hand drawn typographic style – creates limited edition art prints. Blacklist Design Studio works with a range of local and international clients across fashion, music, interiors and branding.
The advanced umbrella construction is identical to the Blunt Classic umbrella, the original full-sized, full-length and fully tensioned high-performance umbrella. It withstands winds up to 120 km/h without bending! The Blunt is an umbrella to last, and this quality becomes rare these days. Due to a unique design feature, the radial tensioning system (RTS), Blunt umbrellas are unique as they have no sharp edges. The RTS redirects, transfers and distributes the effort used in opening the umbrella throughout the entire canopy surface. The high tension creates a stable, aerodynamic umbrella canopy, similar to a tensile roof, without sharp edge points. The innovative concept has already proven itself for many customers in everyday life and leisure activities.
