This creative KALLAX transformation shows how simple MDF detailing can instantly elevate a flat-pack shelving unit into feature storage.

For this project, @handmadehome_durham customised a standard KALLAX by adding soft arched details cut to her exact measurements from 18mm moisture-resistant MDF, instantly giving the unit a more bespoke, built-in feel. The arches were fixed in place using a strong grab adhesive and brad nails, with caulk used to smooth the joins for a seamless finish.
