Description

Inspired by its namesake, the Coliseum Pure Matt Floor Click Tiles from the Ca' Pietra Minérale collection look and feel like organic stone. With warm beige tones and a softly textured matt finish that brings these tiles to life, they offer a natural look that suits any space, and is reflective of the coloured exterior of the Roman amphitheatre. These tiles are durable, as they are made from stone polymer composite flooring, which is incredibly sturdy and strong. They’re also waterproof, helping to prevent staining and limescale. With built-in underlay they are soft and comfortable underfoot, as well as being sound absorbing to reduce noise others hear when walking across them. The tiles are super easy to install, they simply click into place (provided they have been cut to the correct shape, read the section below about Product Advice Before Purchase for further information on installation). Additionally, to increase the comfort levels of your flooring, they can be fitted with underfloor heating up to 27°C. These tiles have been tested to an R9 slip rating which is a low slip resistance.ORDERING INFORMATION:Tiles are sold by the box with 4 tiles per box (2.508m2 per box)For 1m2, you will need to use 1.594 tiles (2 to the whole number)Samples are available to purchase from Ca' Pietra website - it is recommended that samples are obtained prior to making any order in order to ascertain colour, style, design and likeness. It is recommended that you measure space prior to purchasing in order to accurately assess tiles required, as different batches of tiles can vary in colour. Also, we would always state to overestimate and order over the amount required to cover against damages, breakages, and to provide spares - it is recommended that 10% of the amount is added for this reason to any amount being ordered. We would always advise that you read through the storage information and installation information both prior to purchasing and ahead of installation in order to ensure tiles are kept in the best condition, and so as not to affect any warranty period.PRODUCT ADVICE BEFORE PURCHASE:Tiles are suitable for use with electric and water underfloor heating provided the systems are embedded in screed or beneath a floating timber base or similar as recommended by the underfloor heating manufacturer. If underfloor heating is being added, the surface temperature of the floor should not exceed 27°C.Always leave the boxes of the product flat and leave them in the room for 24 hours to be fitted to acclimatised to the temperature of installation (18-25°C). If they have been stored within this temperature range, acclimatisation time can be reduced.Do not use in areas susceptible to rolling loads or other heavy use.Do not fix any items through the flooring or build fitted units on top of the floor. These tiles should be the last thing installed into a room.Expansion gaps must be allowed around all fixed objects and at the perimeter of the room, which can be concealed with skirting boards or beading. For rooms up to 10m in length, this gap should be at least 5mm. We recommend 10mm for rooms exceeding 10m in length and also where directed sunlight strikes, or temperature fluctuates. If used in multiple rooms, the floor should always be broken to allow an expansion gap at each doorway.AFTERCARE ADVICE:Doesn’t require special cleaners or resealing later, brush or vacuum the surface a few times a week to remove dust and particles that might cause scratching underfoot.Only use a damp mop and mild detergent to clean.Although the tiles are waterproof, we recommend mopping up any spills immediately.Apply felt pads to the bottom of furniture legs to protect the surface of the tiles.
