One of the prints in our Nautical Knot Print Series - The classic Beach House Art Original Knot series.
The original paintings in the Nautical Knot series were inspired by the working ports and harbours we have visited around the coast of the UK. Painted by our Beach House Art Studio using only two beautiful colours. The background was painted a neutral ecru colour - the colour of sand, to provide a perfect base for the stunning, deep indigo blue that was used for the knots themselves. The bold contrast between the two colours is superb.
The artist used a clever layering technique to give the knots a 3D appearance. We love seeing the brushstrokes in every knot. Artwork from this Knot Print Series is a must-have for anyone who loves nautical art.
You can see from the images of each knot that they work brilliantly as a stand-alone statement piece and equally as a part of a Gallery Wall.
