Description
DeepL TranslateMade exclusively for French Bedroom.
This large reversible 100% cotton Kantha bedspread pairs a small-scale botanical print with a rich russet-red border, finished with rows of traditional hand stitching. The floral sprigs bring a sense of heritage charm, while the plain reverse offers a more understated look, with its simple running-stitch pattern.
Our kanthas begin their life in Sanganer, Jaipur, where the fabric is block-printed by hand, one block at a time, using carved wooden blocks and traditional Indian techniques. From there, they pass through the hands of skilled artisan families, who cut, stitch, quilt, and finish each piece. Every kantha is then carefully checked and prepared in Noida before beginning its journey to French Bedroom.
As each kantha is made by hand, subtle printing irregularities and colour variations may occur.
