Description

Large, bright red, frilled flowers with a white cross and attractive gold stamens are produced on tall stems. Bees are attracted to the vivid colouring of this unusual poppy variety. Flowers are followed by attractive seed pods which look great in floral arrangements and can be used in baking and bread making

Sowing info: Sow thinly just below the surface in well-cultivated soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. When large enough to handle, thin seedlings to 15-30cm (6-12in) apart.
Growing info: Removing spent flower heads will encourage further blooming.
