Designed to create the ideal atmosphere in a kitchen and living space, this 108cm remote control pendant-style island hood in anti-fingerprint mineral black combines ultra-quiet extraction with adjustable mood lighting. Featuring a new colourway for 2023, this hood is finished in a deep, rich mineral black, which features anti-fingerprint technology. Developed in standard recirculation mode with no need for venting warm air to an outside area, this model is energy efficient, easy to install and allows for greater flexibility when planning a kitchen design.

The central section of the hood incorporates two energy efficient and powerful motors that include a silencer and feature perimeter extraction. There are four speeds with a maximum flow pressure of 1010m³/h with a minimum noise level of 53dB at level 1 and a maximum noise level of 68dB at level 4.

A soft on / off button on the remote control activates the atmospheric lighting which is delivered by energy efficient LEDs with colour temperature ranges from 2.700k to 5.000k. This can then be adjusted from cold to warm tones and from very intense to dimmed hues according to the required mood.

Being a standard recirculation hood means that warm air no longer needs to be vented to an outside wall using lengths of ducting, thus saving energy. This also means that a recirculation hood can be situated anywhere in a room, which provides more freedom when designing and planning an open plan kitchen and living space and makes installation far easier.

Advanced extraction performance is based on the use of Novy’s advanced monoblock grease filters which powerfully absorb unpleasant odours from the kitchen within 20 minutes after cooking has ended. Novy monoblock filters are made from millions of 0.5mm carbon granule spheres which are compressed into a complex maze structure that provides highly efficient odour absorption. Both water-repellent and non-flammable, they can be cleaned and regenerated in the oven at 120°C up to six times or after 200 hours of cooking.

When integrated with a Novy InTouch induction hob, this cooker hood can either be operated independently via remote control, via the Novy Connect app, or directly using the hob’s touch controls.
