Description

The Novy Panorama Pro 90 is a powerful four-zone 90cm induction hob with a downdraft extractor integrated within the hob itself - directly behind the cooking area. When not in use the ventilation tower is completely concealed beneath the hob’s surface, and when activated, either by touch control or by using the Novy Connect app, it elevates to reveal a tinted glass glass extractor. Rising to any height level up to 30cm, the Panorama Pro efficiently extracts cooking vapours at source – directly behind the pans.
With independent white LED touch-slider controls and featuring automatic pan detection, the four 200 x 240mm (3700W) induction zones of the hob are laid out in a panoramic configuration, thus providing the cook with flexible freedom of movement. By laterally positioning the cooking zones side-by-side directly in front of the integrated extractor ensures that aerodynamic flow is continually optimised, resulting in a positive effect on the Panorama’s noise levels. In ventilation mode, these range from a minimum noise level of 37dB at level 1 and a maximum continuous noise level of 57dB. With a maximum free flow rate of 1160m³/h, it features five speeds plus three intensive speeds and has a B energy rating.
The Panorama Pro 90 also features an intelligent Auto-function when a pan is placed on the hob and power is activated: by touching the Auto control, the downdraft rises to a height of 20cm whilst detecting grease and vapours; it then automatically adjusts to the optimal extraction level required. Together with nine standard power levels per induction zone, each also features a Super Power boost function to reach maximum temperature at a single touch, a Stop&Go pause function and three keep-warm options, while a further grill function works with a separate grill plate accessory. A bridging function across two zones creates a larger single cooking area on either side, so that awkward-shaped pans such as fish kettles can be accommodated, while the temperature remains uniform.
With no need for a separate cooker hood above the hob, the Panorama Pro 90 can be installed almost anywhere within the kitchen layout, thus enabling greater design freedom. Its ultra-slim motor is developed so that space loss is kept to a minimum; it is designed to sit in the cabinetry beneath the worksurface so that drawers of 40cm depth can be placed in front. There are two extraction options: ducted ventilation to an outside area or recirculation mode. The latter technology is increasingly used in energy efficient homes and in kitchens where exhaust to the outside is not possible.
