Flowering period: June-October, Planting period: May - June
Plant in a sunny/shaded spot. Lightly press each tuber hollow-side up into multi purpose compost in pots or trays to start them growing. Plant out when the risk of frost has passed. Water well during dry spells. Remove faded flowers to prolong flowering. When the foliage has died back, usually after the first frost, cut stems back to 5cm above soil level. Not winter hardy. To over-winter, dig up the tubers and store them in a cool, dry and frost-free place. Replant in the same way next year.
