Description

Mexican orange blossom is an exceptional evergreen shrub- it's very popular for its beautiful, glossy, green leaves and small, star-shaped flowers in late spring. 'Sundance' is especially loved for its golden-yellow new shoots. With its fantastic foliage, this shrub will make an instant impact on your garden, whether by filling a space between other plants, or as part of your border. It can also be planted as a very attractive hedge and doesn't need much trimming.

Flowering period - Autumn and winter
Dig soil improver in to the soil. Dig a hole twice as big as the pot, remove the pot from the rootball and place in the hole, ensuring the top of the plant roots is level with the soil surface. Backfill soil around the roots and water well
Feed with a general purpose fertiliser in spring. Prune established plants immediately after flowering, removing 25-30cm (10-12in) of the flowered stems. This encourages a second flush of flowers in late-summer and autumn

H4 - Hardy through most of the UK (-10 to -5°C)
