I’m Lauren, the embroidery artist behind the small business The Artist's Lab!

My beginner friendly embroidery kits are a lovely gift for adults who’d love to spend some ‘me time’ learning a new hobby. All the supplies are included, as well as easy to follow instructions, making it a lovely introduction to modern embroidery. It doesn’t matter if you’re new to this, ANYONE can be creative with a little inspiration and guidance.

I started The Artist’s Lab making embroidered pet portraits back in 2018, and I quickly learned just how beautiful embroidery is. Armed with a needle and thread, I began designing my first embroidery pattern to share with you. I wanted to share with others about how much embroidery has helped me to slow down my thoughts and feel less anxious, but to also show that you can give it a go too! And you don’t need to be ‘creative’ to start embroidery. With practice, good instructions and the right supplies, you can make something beautiful.
