To add a contemporary aspect to a traditional Shaker kitchen in a period property, Tim Higham and his design team converted a small cloakroom to become a coffee station. Surrounded by a beam to one side and exposed brickwork to the other, this coffee station features open shelving for cups, mugs and jugs painted in Pompeian Ash 293 by the Little Greene Paint Company. The same pale vein HS Carrara Quartz worktop used for the kitchen is fitted at the base of the shelving to accommodate a coffee machine. Beneath is a concealed integrated freezer, by Neff.
