Boris Indra Bandyopadhyay founded the BANDYOPADHYAY interior studio in 2015.
From his question of what links cultures out of a design perspective, he created the ‘Andaluz’ as a design object and cultural statement. His work appears regularly in design magazines and newspapers, and he researches and speaks on the topics of spaces as places of personal development, interior design as inspiration and design as a cultural statement. He lives in Frankfurt and Berlin.

A graduate of the Cologne International School of Design (KISD) and the Humboldt University of Berlin, he combines design and culture in surprising interior solutions. His award-winning ideas, including an innovative furniture system for internet configuration, reflect his unconventional, humorous approach. With the start-up alvari (www.alvari.de), he launched modular solid wood furniture that can be configured online and is also used in his interior projects.

His studio BANDYOPADHYAY interior (www.bandyopadhyay.de) works in the residential, office and hospitality sectors - with a focus on innovative, healthy and above all, inspiring colour, material and surface concepts as well as lighting objects as architectural signature pieces.
