Meet the Founder

Evolve Grips was founded in Melbourne, Australia, by fitness enthusiast Jason. As a member of the international Health & Fitness Association, he is passionate about promoting overall health and fitness, but has a special interest in sports science, always searching for safe and efficient ways to improve strength and build muscle.

The Vision of Evolve Grips

Evolve Grips stemmed from Jason's desire to push his limits and grow, all while safeguarding his body against the injuries that often result from poor form.

Already a convert of thick grip training, after seeing the benefits to his muscle growth from many years of use, he set out to develop the next generation of grips – ergonomic grips that would prevent wrist strain and improve form while delivering all the muscle building benefits of traditional thick grips.

An Ergonomic Innovation

Evolve Grips marks an ergonomic innovation in weight training, challenging the design of fitness equipment.

Standard cylindrical dumbbell and barbell handles fail to optimise user form during lifting, leading to poor hand alignment and insufficient wrist support. Our patented ergonomic design molds to the user’s hands, distributing pressure across the palms and preventing wrist strain and injuries during lifting.
