Our Highland Cow Love apron has been printed in earthy tones of orange, green and brown and features Cherith’s illustrative design of a parent licking her calf clean, who doesn’t appear to be too impressed!

Her unique drawing style allows her to capture wonderfully all of nature’s varying textures and patterns making even the most mundane subject such as mud and grass, vibrant and beautiful.

The hills creeping in the background are inspired by Cherith’s travels, gazing out the aeroplane window to the fields below she would imagine them as being one big giant patchwork quilt. The colours and textures would always vary from country to country but nothing felt more familiar and welcoming than the fields on her home turf, even if the Scottish weather she was returning to was awful!

“This apron is part of our Highland Cow Love range. When I designed this collection at the end of 2020 I really wanted to create designs that were wholesome, positive and heart-warming. 2020 was the year we all had to embrace a much slower pace of life and begin appreciating the simple things such as a walk in the park and uninterrupted time with our loved ones. I hope my oven gloves featuring affectionate parent and child ‘heilan coos’ grazing happily in lush pastures brings you little bit of joy and feel-good vibes to your day.” – Cherith Harrison

This apron is 100% unbleached cotton and measures 60cm x 85cm. Made in the UK it is machine washable (40ºC) and comes neatly folded and packaged in a Kraft card sleeve. Finishing off the apron perfectly are matching cream adjustable ties.
