This was one of those bespoke kitchens where everything just came together beautifully. Designed and handmade for our client in Hove, the space features slim shaker doors in solid oak, stained to bring out the natural grain and warmth of the wood. The look is clean and unfussy—exactly what our clients were after. It’s a great example of how thoughtful kitchen design can feel both timeless and relaxed.

The curved island is the standout moment here. We topped it with Calacatta Viola marble—bold and full of character— then finished it with a triple bullnose edge to give it that soft, sculptural feel. It’s tactile, a little unexpected, and definitely made to be gathered around. Like all our bespoke wooden kitchens, it’s been designed to be lived with, not just looked at.

We also built a custom pantry and coffee cupboard that keeps the daily essentials out of sight but close at hand. It’s these little touches that make a bespoke kitchen really work —storage tailored to how people actually live, all built by hand in our local workshop. This one’s got pocket doors, deep drawers, and that satisfying feeling of everything just… fitting.

In the corner, a red leather banquette brings a little fun and colour to the space —designed to be both a statement and a proper sit-down spot. Next to it, a matte black TV cabinet adds a quiet contrast and doubles as a display for our client’s bold art pieces. These little personal layers are what turn a well-made kitchen into something that truly feels like home.
