Traditionally in India, the candle cups are called 'Diyas' - oil and wick lamp cups that would have been used in generations past in Indian homes. This wall art would also have been lit for a special occasion and used for pujas and prayers.

The candle cup holders aren't perfectly flat, therefore we don't suggest actual tea lights to sit in them. But rather, LED lights for safety.

Today, it's still possible to achieve a stunning look, but with electric tea lights. Alternatively, without candles, this would still make a beautiful piece of art for any room in your home. A great piece to show off to visitors!
