Our BAO Skincare products are handcrafted in small batches in Beth’s home studio in Dorset, England. The reason they are handmade is so they can keep their therapeutic properties and are delivered to you the freshest they can be. Our creams, which are a blend of floral waters, plant oils and nut butters must have a preservative added, this allows them to last around 24 months once made, but no panic as this is natural and contains no parabens or synthetic ingredients. Our washes are also protected with our palm oil free preservative and last 24 months. The rest of our products, the balms, salts and scrubs do not contain any preservatives as they do not contain any waters so they all last 12 months from being made.
We have a wonderful collection of face and body products, and they are mostly suitable for all skin types. We pride our brand on honesty and always putting you, the customer first. Although we have always used organic, natural ingredients Beth felt that because the market is so full of skincare products claiming to be organic, or vegan or natural and are not, she wanted to have actual certification to show this. So all of our ingredients and products are now certified and approved by COSMOS Soil Association and The Vegan Society. We feel that it’s one thing to just say our products are organic and vegan, but having these reputable associations displayed on our products gives you, our customer, more trust in our brand.
