Victorian Green Skirting Tile Victorian green is a breathtaking colour, truly a gift from the Victorians. Similar to Permanent Green, it looks stunning alongside most Artworks colours. At one point, this dye was made from wood and used as skirting boards to mask the messy bottom edges of plastered walls, also protecting them from harm by footsteps and brooms. Our skirting tiles, while more decorative than functional, are a gorgeous transition from wall to floor surface. To avoid this, clean with clean water and a soft cloth, then wipe dry. Recommended for dry areas only and not near any sinks or in showers. Artworks tiles and mouldings may craze and no guarantee can be given against this happening. Crazed/crackle tiles must be sealed before fixing, then after grouting. Crazed/crackle will continue over time and as it occurs, they should be sealed.
