Fatsia is an extremely useful evergreen shrub that happily tolerates little or no direct sun, which already makes it a fantastic choice. However, combined with its gorgeous, large, fan-like leaves that give a lush tropical feel, it really is invaluable for adding style and interest to your garden all year round.
Plant position - Any location
Any type of soil - Well drained
Flowering period - Autumn
Dig soil improver in to the soil. Dig a hole twice as big as the pot, remove the pot from the rootball and place in the hole, ensuring the top of the plant roots is level with the soil surface. Backfill soil around the roots and water well
Water regularly in dry spells during the growing season

H5 - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters (-15 to -10°C)
