Can you tell us a bit about you, your role, and the business?


Hello, Press Loft Goddesses! My role at the rapidly expanding Sazy homewares brand includes managing communication, PR strategy, e-mail campaigns, e-commerce messaging, and product launches, to name a few. We have over 3000 SKUS, and managing different launches and categories is intense.


Which PR activities do you do with Press Loft?


Because of our depth of SKUS, we are always launching new collections (hence the slow response to your questions), and we try to base them on Press Loft’s trending suggestions and media requests. We need to get into gear on the press release front too. Our ambition is to feed the Press Loft every day and be as relevant as possible to your audiences.


How is Press Loft helping your company and/or you in your role?


Press Loft is invaluable, and that includes its incredible team of Amy and Andreea. We reach out and listen to the team to respect their insights on what’s happening in the market, plus we share products we hope are relevant to their trending stories. As importantly, Press Loft helps us focus on the market with a level of daily intensity. It’s very competitive in the hardware game, and we appreciate not only our competitors but also the intense jobs journalists have. On a daily basis, it helps us to connect with the media, but it also supports our reactive nature by highlighting what is relevant.


What were you doing before you used Press Loft?


We still have our PR company, In The White Room, in place, but our depth of products means we need to be exposed to as wide an audience as possible. We believe in combining that one-on-one expertise with a strategic PR agency and the seamless benefits of a platform like Press Loft, but we also appreciate the insight and strategic thinking of your team. We like the expertise and feedback you share over seminars.


What sort of business would you recommend Press Loft to?


The brands and categories that feature at Top Drawer are very much on par with Press Loft’s audiences. Small, medium, and large businesses all benefit. I would recommend perhaps material-based companies such as paint, fabrics, tiles, etc.; perhaps that’s dipping more into the B-to-B terrain, but I still think those companies would benefit.
